CBHS World Rhino Day - 22 Sep '15

To support World Rhino Day, pupils and staff from Camps Bay High School built a rhinoceros out of recycled material. The rhino was unveiled along with rhinos built by other schools by Western Cape province's Premier, Helen Zille, at the V & A Waterfront.

CBHS Gr 12 Drama Practicals - 21 Sep '15

On Monday, 21 September 2015, the Grade 12 Drama practicals took place in the new Cultural Centre at Camps Bay High School.  An extremely high standard of drama was enjoyed by the audience.

CBHS Italian Exchange Students Assembly - 14 Sep '15

On Monday, 14 September 2015, we were  treated to a typical ‘musical’ Camps Bay High School assembly. Mr Cawood co-ordinated a special assembly to welcome our visiting Italian exchange students. We were entertained by a dance group, solo singers, the choir, piano pieces and belly dancing.

CBHS Past Pupils Sports Day A Great Success - 9 Sep '15

On Saturday, 5 September 2015, a number of past pupils visited their old school at the annual Past Pupils Sports Day.  Soccer, Rugby, Hockey and Netball games were enjoyed by all.  The matches were followed by refreshments outside on the most beautiful day.

The scores were as follows :

Girls' Soccer:
Current pupils won the match 4-0

Boys' Soccer:
Current pupils won the match 5-3

Girls' Hockey:
Past pupils won the match 3-1

Boys' Hockey:
Past pupils won the match 2-0

Netball:
Current pupils won the match 13-11

Rugby:
Matrics vs the rest of the school : Matrics won 38-29

Rugby:
 "Young" Old Boys vs "Old" Old Boys : "Young" Old Boys won 26-10.

CBHS Grade 11 Fashion Show - 4 & 5 Sep '15

The Grade 11 Fashion Show took place on 4 and 5 September 2015. A great evening of fashion and fun was enjoyed by all who attended the event.

CBHS Meeting With Minister Dan Plato - 1 Sep '15

On Tuesday, 1 September 2015, two Grade 10 pupils from Camps Bay High School, Meghan and Carmen Howell,  handed over a Memorandum to the Minister of Community Safety, Mr Dan Plato.

Meghan initiated this Memorandum in response to one of Camps Bay High School's pupils recently losing his life to crime in Imizamo Yethu township in Hout Bay. The aim of the Memorandum was to request increased visible policing.

CBHS Enviro Club Video - Aug '15

The Camps Bay High School Environment Club, as part of their Go Green initiative, recently planted 10 palm trees on the campus and they will be very excited to see these grow over the next few years.
